  • The Smoking Jacket looks like an ordinary jacket, except for the fact the front is equipped with a pair of “lungs”. The lungs will change their appearance as smokers blow smoke into a tube, located in the collar.

The lungs are transparent, and hold a sophisticated internal tubing system, that is connected to the tube in the collar. Instead of blowing smoke in the faces of innocent bystanders the smoker will exhale the smoke into the see-through lungs. By doing this the tubes in the lungs will slowly get darker and darker. This will make a statement to onlookers, but perhaps also cause self-awareness and reflection.

The jacket was created by Fiona Carswell.
